Leo company's product prototype.

Key Components of Leo Filter Membrane Filter Press:
1. Filter Press Plate Packs: These are the main components that hold the filter cloths and form the chambers where the slurry is filtered. Membrane filter plates have a flexible membrane for membrane squeezing to filter cakes.
2. Membrane Filter Plate Membranes: The flexible membranes are inflated with air or water to apply pressure on the filter cake, squeezing out more liquid.
3. Filter Press Cloths: Placed between the filter press plates and act as the medium to hold filter cakes
4. Filter Press Frame: The structure that holds filter press plates and other parts of the filter press
5. Filter Press Hydraulic System: open and close the membrane filter press
6. Filter Press Feed Pump: Pumps push the slurry into the filter press.
7. Filter Press Control System: Automates the operation of the filter press, including membrane inflation, cake discharge, and automatic cleaning.
How Membrane Filter Press Works:
1. Slurry Filling: The slurry is pumped into the chambers formed by the filter plates and filter cloths.
2. Filtration: liquid passes through the filter cloth, leaving solid particles behind to form a filter cake.
3. Membrane Compression: Once the chambers are full, the membranes are inflated with air or water, applying additional pressure to the filter cake to squeeze out more liquid.
4. Cake Discharge: After dewatering, the filter press is opened, and the filter cake is discharged.
5. Cleaning: The filter cloths and filter plates are cleaned for the next cycle.
Advantages of Membrane Filter Press:
- Higher Dryness of Cake: The additional pressure from the membranes results in a drier filter cake compared to traditional filter presses.
- Improved Efficiency: Faster filtration and dewatering cycles.
- Versatility: Can handle a wide range of materials and particle sizes.
- Automation: membrane filter presses are highly automated, reducing labor costs and for whole working plant automatic control.
Leo Filter Membrane Filter Press Applications:
- Wastewater Treatment: Sludge dewatering.
- Mining: Tailings dewatering and concentrate processing.
- Chemical Industry: Separation of chemical slurries.
- Food and Beverage: Clarification of liquids and separation of solids.
- Pharmaceuticals: Purification and separation processes.
