Membrane Filter Plates
Not like the recessed chamber filter plates,the membrane filter plates have an inflatable membrane (elastomeric material) on one or both sides
When pressurized (typically with water or air, 10–25 bar), the membrane will be inflated and to squeeze the filter cake, reducing moisture content of filter cakes and shorten filtering cycle time.
Filter Press Frame
Similar to a traditional filter press,such as plate and frame filter press or chamber recessed plate filter press but filter press frame will have membrane squeezing systems to work with membrane plates.
Filter Press Cloth
Always work with filter press plates will be made from different filtering mesh size and filter cloth material,also will work with different filtering temperature and pressure.

How Membrane Filter Press Works
Full all the filter press chambers: Slurry is pumped into every filter press chambers,pass by filter press cloth on the filter plates and form filter cake continuously
Primary Filtration (this step will like old plate and frame construction plate and frame filter press/recessed chamber filter press) with standard feeding and filtering pressure
Membrane Squeeze Phase (Key difference for membrane filter press operation)
Compressed air or liquid inflates the membrane, applying mechanical membrane squeezing pressure,this mechanical squeezing pressure squeeze out more filtration from filter cakes and get a drier filter cake finally
Filter Cake Discharge and ready for next filter cycle,at this stage membranes deflate, filter press plates separate, and the dry cake falls out and deliver out of the filter press for next step treatment.
